Thousands of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continue to volunteer to assist in the recovery efforts in communities affected by Hurricane Sandy. On Sunday, November 11th, thousands of these church members cancelled their church services and arrived by air, bus and train from all across the country to help. Although these efforts are organized by the church, anyone and everyone is invited to participate.

If you or someone you know needs this help, please call 718-672-2031 or email 2012006@ldschurch.org

**update***
I never really imagined this would get such a worldwide response. My original intent was just to create something beautiful that would motivate my other single friends here in NYC to come out and help in the coming weeks. Obviously it’s resonated with a much larger group at this point and I am happy to share it with those that find it inspiring. Many have requested a copy that they can show to their own groups across the world. Get in touch with me via my Facebook page (listed below), tell me a little bit about with who and where you would like to share it, and I will be in touch.
